Please reply in thread instead of posting a new message in channel.
Threads create organized discussions around specific messages.Starting a thread allows you to have more granular discussions without over-populating the channel with messages. Whether you’re answering a question or adding context to an earlier message, threads can be used to have multiple ongoing conversations without interrupting your team’s flow.
Replying in thread also reduces the number of notifications channel members receive. New messages in a thread will only notify those participating in the thread. By contrast, posting a new message to the channel will notify all members of the channel.
